Ok...this is the L.I.F.T. webpage...but i guess you could have figured that out.
So...as you probably could tell, our main thing is to call people to Live In Faith Today.
Ok, so you might be wondering...just what exactly does it mean to have faith? Well, in the Bible, the book of James, chapter 2, verse 14, says, "What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him?" In other words words, it means that having real faith doesn't mean just saying you believe in something...real faith is doing things that show your faith to be real.
So...what are you gonna do? Sit on your butt at church and leave thinking you've had your fill of God for one week? Or go out there and show your faith in the God you believe in? I know which one I'm doing!
So anyway...here's what we, the Trinity United Methodist Praise Band, have done to show our faith.
